 Terms & conditions of business Greener Than The Rest operate a minimum booking policy of 2 hours work, for all services, per booking or £25.00, whichever is the lesser amount. - A 25% deposit will be required for all jobs needing materials bought.
- It is the customers responsibility to ensure that we are able to access the area that we are required to work and to ensure that there is access to water and electricity if required.
- If for any reason the required work has to be postponed with less than 48 hours notice due to any fault of the customer, a £10.00 charge will apply and the 25% deposit will not be refunded.
- The postponed job has to be re-booked within 5 working days from the original booking date or it will be treated as a cancellation and the 25% deposit will not be returnable.
- We do not guarantee any of our products.
- Invoices must be paid upon completion of works, unless otherwise agreed in writing with Greener Than The Rest.
- Greener Than The Rest reserves the right to charge an administration fee of £10.00 per overdue invoice.
- Invoices that remain overdue for 60 days or more will be passed on to a debt collection agency, and all recovery costs will be chargeable to the customer.
- Greener Than The Rest reserves the right to suspend regular services or refuse bookings if an invoice remains unpaid.
- If any cheque is returned unpaid, then a fee of £35.00 will be charged in addition to the invoice that the cheque was issued for.
- If the customer has any complaints regarding the services provided, then they must make their complaint in writing, by recorded delivery within 5 working days of the works being completed. If the customer fails to make the complaint within 5 working days of the work being completed then we cannot offer a refund, only a repair.
- With exception to legal representation, any complaints made or refunds requested must be done so by the customer. If the customer does not contact us, then we cannot put the matter right.
- Before any refunds are given, Greener Than the Rest must see the problems that are being complained about. If the customer refuses this then we cannot give a refund.
- If a full refund is given, the materials are then property of Greener Than The rest and we reserve the right to remove all materials that have been refunded to the customer.
- Greener Than The Rest are fully insured.
- We reserve the right to amend prices and services with 7 days notice prior to us doing so. The 7 days notice will only be posted on our website at www.greenerthantherest.co.uk.
- Greener Than The Rest will never pass on any customer details unless we are lawfully required to do so or for debt recovery purposes.
- We reserve the right to amend these terms & conditions with 48 hours notice, which again will be posted on our website only.
- When a quote is sent to a customer, and they would like to go ahead with the works, then a signed copy of the quote MUST be sent back to us in the stamped addressed envelope provided. If we do not have a signed copy, then we cannot go ahead with the works.
- By signing the quote the customer is agreeing to pay the quoted price for the job and is also agreeing to our terms & conditions.
- when the works have been completed, the customer will be asked to sign a satisfaction form to say that they are happy with the works. This cannot be signed by anyone else on the customers behalf.
- Please note that any materials used, remains the property of Greener Than The Rest until paid for in full by the customer.
- Any verbal or physical threats of violence against any member of Greener Than the Rest will NOT be tolerated and we reserve the right not to have to return to complete nor repair the job. Again the 25% deposit will not be returned if this occurs. A form of verbal or physical threats of violence WILL be reported to the police. No exceptions. We hold a zero tolerance policy on this matter.
